Problem:
For the Global Order Promising Assignment Set, We have Item and Organization, Category and Organization, Category & Global level sourcing assignments. The global level sourcing rule was setup to source from multiple suppliers based on the priority.
Some reason sales orders were processed as drop ship orders when the warehouse wasn’t entered at the line level after 24A Upgrade. Ideally these orders should be processed to be fulfilled from one of the warehouses based on the Category level sourcing assignment in the GOP Assignment Set, But these were processed using the global level sourcing assignment. The issue was observed in multiple environments after Fusion 24A quarterly update. We can see the same issue from the GOP simulation also.
Root Cause: Seems to be an issue with the GOP/Planning assignment Sets after 24A upgrade.
Solution:
Save the Assignment Set with catalog, Run Collections and Restart the order Promising Server.
Default Assignment Set >> Edit
select a different Catalog, Cancel (No), then Save with the previous assignment catalog (i.e. Sourcing Assignments Catalog)
